En attendant,peut être un jour,le livre ultime sur ALIEN et son tournage il est possible de combler sa soif de documents rares en dénichant d'anciens magazines de l'époque sur des sites US ou anglais de ventes aux enchères.C'est ce que j'ai fait récemment avec deux titres célèbres:FANTASTIC FILMS et FAMOUS MONSTERS...

You would better look for old magazines to find rare documents or photos.That's what I did and I was delighted to discover:FANTASTIC FILMS and FAMOUS MONSTERS (well,you must already know these mags in USA but they were not published here,in France).

L'anecdote est connue.Ridley Scott,comprenant que le budget effets spéciaux du film devait être augmenté,a dessiné une série de storyboards tellement précis quant à sa vision du projet que la Fox a doublé la somme.J'avais toujours voulu voir ces oeuvres...et dire qu'elles avaient été diffusées dès 1979 dans le numéro d'octobre de Fantastic Films (ce sont des petites reproductions mais elles sont très lisibles)
If,as I was, you were looking for the storyboards from Ridley Scott (which allowed him to rise the sfx budget of the movie) you had to know that they were published in the october 1979 issue of Fantastic Films (small reproduction but worth it!).
